Model 844 Resistance 2-Point Probe

Overview:

The Model 844 Probe is a 2-point (two pin) resistance probe that meets ANSI/ESDA STM11.13 requirements for testing the resistance of small samples or small areas on a larger sample. The Model 844 utilizes gold plated, spring-loaded pins with conductive rubber electrodes at the point of contact.  The probe is comprised of two 0.125″ diameter electrodes spaced 6.4mm (0.25″) between centers. Recommended Minimum Measurement size of 19mm (0.75”) x 5mm (0.188″) surface and a 11mm (0.438”) deep cavity. The Model 844 is designed to be used with the ETS Model 848 Universal Handle Assembly.

Features:

The Model 844 Probe utilizes two spring-loaded pin-style gold plated electrodes with conductive rubber at the point of contact to measure the resistance or resistivity of nearly any surface including small, non-flat samples or small areas on large samples.

  • The gold-plated electrodes are socket mounted for easy replacement.
  • Each electrode requires 5 oz. (688 gr.) for total compression.
